NOTICE INVITING BIDS FOR SUPPLY OF 11KV SWITCHGEAR PANELS FOR REPLACEMENT OF DBB#2 AT TNPL UNIT I.

Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (hereinafter referred to as “TNPL”) own and operates an integrated pulp and paper manufacturing facility at Kagithapuram in the state of Tamil Nadu. The paper mill manufactures different varieties of paper and is one of the major producers of newsprint and fine papers in India.

TNPL invites Bids from eligible Bidders for “Supply of 11kV Switchgear Panels for Replacement of DBB#2 at TNPL Unit I” as per the scope of this Bid Document through E-Procurement portal (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app).

The bidding procedure is electronic bid submission through the website (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app) only. The bidder can logon to this website and view the invitation for Bids and details of works for which the bid is invited.

Qualification Criteria:

  • The bidder shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of Vacuum Interrupters, Switchgear panel, Circuit breakers and Numerical Relays and supplied atleast 500 Nos. of 40kA, 11kV, 1250A and above rating switchgear panels in the past fifteen (15) financial years (Apr 2011 – Mar 2026), which should have included atleast 10nos. 2500A rating switchgear panels. Out of which, atleast 25 nos. of 11kV switchgear panels should have been supplied in pulp & paper industry in the past five (5) financial years (Apr 2021 – Mar 2026), which are in successful operation.
  • Also such bidders should have manufactured vacuum interrupter and numerical relay for not less than fifteen (15) years and should have supplied minimum 10000 nos. of interrupters and 200 nos. of Own make numerical relay (Feeder) with OEM software of IEC 61850 edition 2 with RJ45 redundant protocol on PRP, which are in successful operation.
  • The bidder should confirm submitting the type test report for Internal Arc Test IAC 40KA 1 Sec – AFLR category with all the three (3) HT compartments (i.e Breaker, Busbar & cable Chamber) as per latest IEC 62271-200 to enable qualification.
