NOTICE INVITING BIDS FOR SUPPLY OF LT POWER CABLES FOR RSPS#2 IN TNPL UNIT I

Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (hereinafter referred to as “TNPL”), owns and operates successfully a 400,000 tpa printing and writing paper mill at Kagithapuram and 200,000 tpa Multilayer paper board manufacturing unit at a Manapparai, Trichy District, in the State of Tamil Nadu, India, while the existing mill at Kagithapuram is referred as TNPL Unit – I.

TNPL invites Bids from eligible Bidders for “SUPPLY OF LT POWER CABLES FOR RSPS#2 IN TNPL UNIT I” as per the scope of this Bid Document through E-Procurement portal (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app).

The bidding procedure is electronic bid submission through the website (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app) only. The bidder can logon to this website and view the invitation for Bids and details of works for which the bid is invited.

Qualification Criteria:

The bidder should be a reputed, registered and established manufacturer since 2015 for design, manufacture, testing and supply of LT power cables. The bidder should have supplied at least 5,000 km of LT power cables in the past ten (10) years (Apr 2015 – Mar 2025), which should have included atleast 10KM of 3C/3.5C/4C x 240 Sq.mm size and above Aluminium Cable.

Also, bidder should have executed minimum 2 orders for the value of each order not less than Rs.2 crores in the past five (5) years (Apr 2020 – Mar 2025).

The financial results of the firm should be sound enough: it should not have suffered any financial loss for the preceding 3 years ending 31/03/2025. The firm shall enclose copy of audited balance sheet and profit & loss account statement.

The bidder should be an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer for quality management system.

The bidder shall provide the documentary evidence for meeting the above qualification criteria along with technical bid.
