Supply of Dry Type Lighting Transformer for TM#5 in TNPL Unit II

NOTICE INVITING BIDS FOR SUPPLY OF DRY TYPE LIGHTING TRANSFORMER FOR TM#5 IN TNPL UNIT II

Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL), which owns and successfully operates a 200,000 tpa Multilayer Coated Board Mill at Mondipatti, Trichy District (Unit 2) in the State of Tamil Nadu, India, is embarking upon a Mill Expansion Plan.

TNPL invites Bids from eligible Bidders for “Supply of Dry Type Lighting Transformer for TM#5 in TNPL Unit II” as per the scope of this Bid Document through E-Procurement portal (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app).

The bidding procedure is electronic bid submission through the website (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app) only. The bidder can logon to this website and view the invitation for Bids and details of works for which the bid is invited.

Qualification Criteria:

• The bidder should be a manufacturer or authorized dealer who should have at least three years of experience in the manufacturing of dry type transformers and supplied to any Process Industries /Public or Private Power Utilities. In case of Manufacturer, necessary proof for compliance to this bid qualification requirement shall be furnished which shall include ISO Certificate/Certificate of registration/ Memorandum of association/ License etc., shall be uploaded. In case, the bidder is an authorized dealer, in addition to the above documents obtained from manufacturer, a Manufacturer authorization certificate along with the bid has to be uploaded. Bidder should upload manufacturer authorization certificate of only one original equipment manufacturer (OEM) only.
• The bidder should have supplied atleast 10 Nos. of 100kVA or above rating in the past five (5) years to any Process Industries /Public or Private Power Utilities in India. Proof of satisfactory performance of min. 1 no of 50KVA and above transformer for a period of one year during the last five years shall be submitted.
• If bidder is an authorized dealer, the bidder should also furnish/upload all the documents obtained from end user certificate towards successful performance from the manufacturer.
• The financial results of the firm should be sound enough: it should not have suffered any financial loss for the preceding 3 years ending 31/03/2025. The firm shall enclose copy of audited balance sheet and profit & loss account statement.
