NOTICE INVITING TENDER FOR 

DESIGN, MANUFACTURING, TESTING AND SUPPLY OF DISTRIBUTION TRANSORMERS FOR RSPS#2 IN TNPL UNIT-I

Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (hereinafter referred to as “TNPL”) own and operates an integrated pulp and paper manufacturing facility at Kagithapuram  and Mondipatti in the state of Tamil Nadu. The paper mill manufactures different varieties of paper and is one of the major producers of newsprint, board and fine papers in India

TNPL invites Bid from eligible Bidders for “DESIGN, MANUFACTURING, TESTING AND SUPPLY OF  DISTRIBUTION TRANSORMERS FOR RSPS#2 IN TNPL UNIT-I” as per the scope of this Bid Document through E-Procurement portal (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app).

The bidding procedure is electronic bid submission through the website (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app) only. The bidder can logon to this website and view the invitation for Bids and details of works for which the bid is invited.

Qualification Criteria:

The bidder shall be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) having designed, manufactured, tested and supplied distribution transformers of at least 500 Nos. of rating from 2 to 5 MVA in the past ten (10) financial years (Apr 2014 – Mar 2024), which are in successful operation.

Also, the bidder should be ISO 9001 certified for quality management system and   OEM for design, manufacturing and testing of transformers in the past 10 years (Apr 2014 – Mar 2024).
