NOTICE INVITING BIDS FOR SUPPLY OF 415V AC VFD PANELS FOR TM#5 TNPL UNIT-II

Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (hereinafter referred to as “TNPL”) own and operates a 4,00,000 tpa printing and writing paper mill (referred as “TNPL Unit-I”) and 2,00,000 tpa multilayer paper board mill at Mondipatti (referred as “TNPL Unit-II”)

TNPL intends to procure Supply of 415V AC VFD Panels for application at its Mill in Mondipatti, Trichy.

TNPL invites Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply of 415V AC VFD Panels for TM#5 in TNPL Unit-II and fulfilment of guaranteed performance of the equipment, as per the scope of this Bid Document through E-Procurement portal (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app)

The bidding procedure is electronic bid submission through the website (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app) only.  The bidder can logon to this website and view the invitation for Bids and details of Materials / Works for which the bid is invited.

Qualification Criteria

The bidder shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) having designed, manufactured and supplied AC VFD Panels of at least 500 numbers of ratings above 30 kW in the past five (5) years and 50 nos. of 55 to 400 kW rating with Active Front End VFD panels at 415V also be supplied in the past five (5) years.

The bidder should also have experience of establishing communication with any of paper /Board/Tissue Paper plant control system (DCS) and atleast 1 references shall be submitted.

Bidder shall also have installed 415V VFD with direct PROFINET IP connectivity (without any convertor) for control and monitoring purpose in any DCS of a process industry.

The bidder should have successfully executed atleast 1 order with value not less than Rs.2 Crores in the past five (5) financial years (Apr 2019 – Mar 2024).

The bidder shall provide the documentary evidence for meeting the above qualification criteria along with technical bid.
