DESIGN, MANUFACTURING, TESTING AND SUPPLY OF 11KV SWITCHGEARS FOR TM#5 IN TNPL UNIT-II

NOTICE INVITING BIDS FOR DESIGN, MANUFACTURING, TESTING AND SUPPLY OF 11KV SWITCHGEARS FOR TM#5 IN TNPL UNIT-II

Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (hereinafter referred to as “TNPL”) own and operates an integrated pulp and paper manufacturing facility at Kagithapuram  and Mondipatti in the state of Tamil Nadu. The paper mill manufactures different varieties of paper and is one of the major producers of newsprint, board and fine papers in India.

TNPL invites Bids from eligible Bidders for “DESIGN, MANUFACTURING, TESTING AND SUPPLY OF 11KV SWITCHGEARS FOR TM#5 IN TNPL UNIT-II”, as per the scope of this Bid Document through E-Procurement portal (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app).

The bidding procedure is electronic bid submission through the website (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app) only. The bidder can logon to this website and view the invitation for Bids and details of works for which the bid is invited.

Qualification Criteria:

The bidder shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of Vacuum Interrupters, Switchgear panel, Circuit breakers and Numerical Relays and  supplied atleast 500 Nos. of 40kA, 11kV, 1250A and above rating switchgear  panels in the past fifteen (15) financial years (Apr 2009 – Mar 2024), which   are in successful operation. Out of which, atleast 25 nos. of 11kV  switchgear panels should have been supplied in pulp & paper industry in the past five (5) financial years (Apr 2019 – Mar 2024).

 Also such bidders should have manufactured vacuum interrupter and numerical relay for not less than fifiteen (15) years and should have supplied minimum 10000 nos. of interrupters and 200 nos. of Own make numerical relay (Feeder and Motor) with OEM software of IEC 61850 edition 2 with RJ45  redundant protocol on PRP, which are in successful operation.

 The bidder should confirm submitting the type test report for Internal Arc Test IAC 40KA 1 Sec – AFLR category with all the three (3) HT compartments (i.e Breaker,  Busbar & cable Chamber) as per latest IEC 62271-200 to enable qualification.

The bidder shall provide the documentary evidence for meeting the above qualification criteria along with technical bid.
