Civil & Structural works for Revamping of the steam and power system (RSPS#2) at TNPL Unit I (Phase 1)

Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (hereinafter referred to as “TNPL”) own and operates an integrated pulp and paper manufacturing facility at Kagithapuram in the state of Tamil Nadu. The paper mill manufactures different varieties of paper and is one of the major producers of newsprint and fine papers in India.

For TNPL Unit I as part of Revamping of Steam and Power System (RSPS #2), TNPL invites Bids from eligible Bidders for “Civil & Structural works for Revamping of the steam and power system (RSPS#2) at TNPL Unit I (Phase 1)”, as per the scope of this Bid Document through E-Procurement portal (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app).

The bidding procedure is electronic bid submission through the website (https://tntenders.gov.in/nicgep/app) only.

Qualification Criteria:

A) The bidder should have been awarded order and successfully completed atleast two Industrial type of construction having RCC framed structures, for any reputed operating industrial establishments for a value not less than Rs.30 Crore each against single order in the last Ten (10) years reckoned from June, 2014 (i.e., June 2014 to July 2024). The above value is including cost of all materials and excluding applicable taxes.

B) The bidder should have executed atleast one number of any Industrial building similar to Boiler / TG building / TG Deck / Coal handling plant / coal shed covering minimum of      12,000 sq.m of formwork and 10,000 cu.m of concrete, against single order in the last Ten (10) years reckoned from June, 2014 (i.e., June 2014 to July 2024). This criteria can be part of the work mentioned in qualification criteria No. A or any other independent work during the above period.

C) The bidder should confirm installation of a concrete batch plant at site for a capacity not less than 25 cu.m/hour along with a mobile transit mixer and concrete pump.

D). The Average annual turnover of the bidder shall be not less than 60 Crore in the financial years 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23.
